The Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) is the first organization created to represent the global research site community in order to provide greater site sustainability. SCRS was founded in 2012 by Christine Pierre, in response to the industry’s growing need for a global organization who represents the needs of clinical research sites all over the world. It was her vision to use the networks and resources of SCRS as a foundation to cure cancer through efficiency in process and by strengthening the relationships between oncology clinical research sites, institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and patients. SCRS currently represents over 9,500 research sites in 47 countries, with their mission being to unify the voice of the global clinical research site community for overall site sustainability. The SCRS Global Oncology Site Solutions Summit 2020 conference will be held on January 31st - February 1st, in Austin, Texas, at the Hilton Austin Hotel & Venue. This special conference provides resources that enable oncology-focused clinical research sites to improve efficiency in working with sponsors/CROs and vendors, and increase the number of patients who are provided access to cancer clinical trials.
