New Brunswick, situated on the Raritan River, is a 5 square mile city and an energetic hub of education, museums, art galleries, theatres, craft pubs, and unique restaurants. This is one of the few cities in New Jersey where you can actually live in without a car. But more importantly, it’s also a city that is chock-full of famous conferences for the pharma and biotech industries, most notably Contract Pharma’s Annual Conference & Tabletop Exhibition.

The 18th Annual Contracting & Outsourcing Conference & Tabletop Exhibition will be held September 26th -27th, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick Hotel, located in the heart of New Jersey’s pharmaceutical industry. The two-day conference and one-day exhibition starting on September 26th provides the perfect venue for easy, informal discussions for manufacturing, packaging, laboratory services and beyond. The tabletop exhibition will be held one day on Thursday, September 26th with an additional half day of sessions held on Friday, September 27th. Registration is still open but very limited in supply, so if you’re thinking of visiting this important event, be sure to promptly register at your earliest convenience. The $395 registration fee includes entrance to the exhibit hall, conference sessions, breakfast, lunch, the networking cocktail reception, and refreshment breaks.

For important events such as these, it can quickly become overwhelming for a team of company attendees, particularly if limited in size. With so much potential ground to cover, making the most of your time and investment is key, so we’ve put a few tips together for planning out your time in Brunswick:

    Know the area and activities

New Brunswick’s Hyatt Regency Hotel & Conference Venue is known to host some of central New Jersey’s most prominent events. With more than 33,000 square feet of venue space it is a local attraction for everything from major conferences to corporate meetings and even special gala events. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of downtown, and within walking distance to the train station and the best restaurants the city has to offer. Be sure to visit the Contract Pharma hotel page for more details on the Hyatt Regency, booking information, and numerous additional hotels nearby the venue.

The 2019 Contract Pharma conference is a powerhouse of the event with a heavy focus on the tabletop exhibition. Be prepared for a super packed venue and endless opportunities to meet and network with a multitude of outsourcing companies and attendees ranging from every area of the drug development pipeline. From specialty outsourcing groups to regulatory authorities, your team will have a chance to meet face-to-face with potential partners unlike any other conference in the world. Besides the exhibition booths and networking opportunities, there are over 10 expert speakers confirmed, as well as an R&D outsourcing speaker panel on the current agenda. • cGMP: What Everyone is Ignoring
    • Vendor Qualification Assessment Process

Identify the right companies to meet

Unlike many other conferences, there isn’t an official mobile app to set meetings or even an interactive floorplan, but once you get to the show you’ll see why. You can find the official 2019 Exhibitor List online to make your game plan, but the venue will be tightly packed with exhibition tables and full of wandering attendees. To some this might seem to be a drawback, but for business teams eager to network with service providers, there isn’t a better conference to attend this year.

The Contract Pharma Outsourcing Conference & Tabletop Exhibition is mainly focused on networking sessions, by building and maintaining effective relationships with your potential outsourcing partners. From GMP drug substance manufacturing to kitting and packaging, you will surely be able to fulfill your outsourcing needs by attending this special event. The conference is entirely designed with the needs of startups and medium-sized drug companies in mind, ensuring that you will gain beneficial take-aways to clearly define the way you view your external partners and the value that they generate, while guiding you to look at alternatives to your current outsourcing strategies and partner selection.

    Find out who’s going

Sometimes it can be very difficult to determine exactly who will be attending some of the  conferences in smaller venues, but we believe the Contract Pharma 2019 conference event will be an extremely valuable platform for all business development teams in the pharma and biotech industries to network and collaborate in order to re-examine and potentially refine their outsourcing strategies. This networking-driven conference will offer attendees opportunities to develop practical strategies that they can implement to optimize their unique drug development programs and overall goals. For more details visit the conference’s full agenda for a complete list of all the activities taking place during the event.

    Footwear and attire

We always like to make note of this for most conferences, and while the event space is much smaller than the behemoth exhibition centres contracted by other conferences, a good pair of shoes will go a long way!
